TransferNet Pty Ltd (ABN 35 642 553 062) (‘TransferNet’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) is an Australian-based international money transfer service facilitating remittances from Australia to Nepal. We operate in accordance with applicable Australian laws and regulations, including obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001.

The services are intended for lawful personal and business remittance purposes only.


2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a resident of Australia with a valid Australian address
  • Hold a valid Australian bank account
  • Provide valid identity documents as required under our Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.


3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use TransferNet’s services. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities conducted through your account
  • Immediately notifying us at info@transfernet.com.au if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account

TransferNet reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any unauthorised use, fraudulent activity, or breach of these Terms.


4. Identity Verification (KYC)

TransferNet complies with Australian Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) laws and AUSTRAC regulations. We may request:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Proof of address
  • Source of funds documentation
  • Additional verification information

Failure to provide requested information may result in delays, suspension, or cancellation of transactions.


5. Transactions

5.1 Exchange Rates

Exchange rates displayed on the website are indicative and may change without notice until the transaction is confirmed.

5.2 Fees

Applicable transfer fees will be disclosed before confirmation of the transaction.

5.3 Transfer Processing

Transfer times may vary depending on:

7. Transaction Limits

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Transactions may only be canceled if:

  • Funds have not yet been processed or paid out

Completed transactions generally cannot be reversed.
